Our HYPAO sealed cable retaining grommet is manufactured with a PA66 body and a TPE upper membrane. Its patented design, with an external protrusion of less than 4.80 mm, allows it to be pre-assembled onto the cable by means of an integrated locking clip in the retainer and subsequently mounted into the structure.
Once the membrane has been pierced, the cable is inserted and secured by the clip, providing high pull-out resistance and sealing performance comparable to a cable gland. It complies with UL cable retention requirements without bending or twisting the cable. Its smooth, rounded inner edges facilitate installation. It is quickly installed by snap-fitting into Ø 22.20 mm holes.
